FAQs

INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT Frequently Asked Questions

Okay… inside scoop on the documentary:

We still have a few things to do in order to get a final version of the film in the can. Based on inquiries from North America and Europe we wanted to give a quick FAQ list in the hope of quickly answering some of the common questions we have received.

Q: I missed the test-screening in Chicago. When will I be able to see this again?
A: The short term plan is to get this film in front of people as soon as possible. We plan on doing that through the many film festivals offered around the world. This usually takes about 1 year from the official premiere to hit all the festivals thoroughly. Once we have a final edit to the film, we plan on starting the festival circuit late 2017 or early 2018.
Because there is no guarantee which festivals we will be accepted to, we strongly suggest to subscribe to our email list. We will be notifying subscribers of all upcoming screenings & festivals as well as other news related to the film. Add your name to the list at: www.waxtraxfilms.com/contact/.

Q: Will I ever be able to buy this on DVD or stream it somewhere?
A: Yes. The planned end game will include streaming, DVDs as well as deluxe bonus material not seen in the film. However the expected release date is still in the distance. There are a few puzzle pieces that need to fit first. First and foremost is starting the festival process and letting the festivals run their course.

Q: I work with a film festival here in (Insert your city) and would love to screen Industrial Accident. Can we make this happen?
A: Most likely, yes. We have worked really hard on the documentary and are looking forward to getting this in front of as many people as possible in the festival circuit. But… The festivals schedules can be tricky. Our screenings (at least in the beginning) will first depend on acceptance schedules and location based on World premieres, Country premiere. State premiere, etc. we then have plans to branch out from there.

Q: I’m involved in a Magazine, Blog, Web Series, Radio Show, Theater, DJ night, Beauty pageants, Muscle beach parties, Satanic rituals, etc. and would love to figure out how we can work with Wax Trax! Do you guys ever do interviews, sponsor stuff, etc.?
A: Short answer… Absolutely!
Long answer… We look at the artists, staff and fans as a big family. If there is anything we can do to help spread this history and art among that family we will. Send over a description and links of what you do and where you do it. We get a ton of requests and really love to help anyway we can. Unfortunately, if you catch us when we’re already spread pretty thin, don’t be bummed if we have to pass.

Q: I’m in a band and I would be perfect for Wax Trax! Records. Do you want to sign me?
A: We have no doubt that your band is awesome and would be a good fit on the label. However, what many folks don’t realize is that the Wax Trax! label was driven exclusively by its founders Jim Nash & Dannie Flesher. Because they have both now passed and out of immense respect, we see ourselves more as custodians of all the amazing art they created. What they did was very special and it is our opinion that it would be a disservice to their life work to try and create a “New Wax Trax!”.

Lots of great things happening this year. In the meantime, just to be sure you’re kept in the loop: if you’re interested in receiving updates, please subscribe to our email list at waxtraxfilms.com/contact/.
